MetLife Voluntary Benefits 
Design Sprint

Our business objective was to develop a set of product assets for MetLife group customers that clearly define the value of voluntary benefits to their employees. With a strong need to demonstrate the relevancy of our products in employees’ lives and ultimately drive enrollment. The design system was required to deliver a distinct and engaging experience with obvious differentiation between products.

Our stylistic approach was inspired by knolling photography. The overhead still life technique allowed us to communicate a unique personal journey relative to each product. 


The storytelling feature of our approach proved to be relevant and relatable. In company with our design system, we were able to build distinction for each product. 


The design system supported various mediums including print, digital, social and video components.
